Simone Scaletta - 2020
Item #364
Maceration of the skins into steel tanks, 5-7 days. Aged 6 months in barriques, followed by several months in steel tanks and bottles without filtrations. The wine then stands in the bottles for 3 months.
Red intense color with brilliant tone. Nose openings of ripe plum on spicy background. It has a generous body with a high fixed acidity with a pleasant freshness and a good persistence. The further time in bottle will give complexity and pleasantness for the future years.
Unforgettable ruby-red freshness. Well-rounded, intense, complex, but above all unforgettable in color and in flavor. With its entertaining and exuberant note of acidity, it refreshes, fills the mouth and always begs for another sip.
