The Corregia family farm was established in 1935, Matteo Corregia took up the management in 1985 from his father and began a quest to put Roero on the map. His first releases in 1987 of Nebbiolo Val dei Preti, Barbera dāAlba Marun, and Anthos will be remembered as very important in the history and development of Roero. Matteo knew the mineral sands of Roero would produce a unique expression of Nebbiolo worthy of anything coming from Barolo and Barbaresco. Today the estate has a reputation of making handcrafted, high quality wines representative of Roero.
