IL VIGNONE is the expression of a captivating blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The name recalls the vineyard in the Fontecornino estate in which the three varieties are found together.

The grapes destined for the production of the Cantina De’Ricci wines originate from 30 hectares of vineyards that the winery possesses and are situated in 3 areas, among the most suitable areas of Montepulciano’s Territory: Ascianello, Nottola (Croce) e Fontecornino.
The average age of the vineyards is 12 years. The cultivation of the vines is by cordon spur and guyot training methods.
